Call for Nomination - William E. Simon Prize
The Philanthropy Roundtable is calling for nominations for prestigious William E. Simon Prize for Philanthropic Leadership. Deadline for nominations is February 18, 2011.
The William E. Simon Prize is awarded to living philanthropists who have shown exemplary leadership through their charitable giving, either directly or through the foundations they have created. The prize honors the ideals and principles which guided Mr. Simon's many philanthropic initiatives, including personal responsibility, resourcefulness, volunteerism, scholarship, individual freedom, faith in God, and helping people to help themselves. The prize highlights the power of philanthropy to achieve positive change and seeks to inspire others to support charities that achieve genuine results.
